Let me introduce myself. I am an elementary school teacher. I’ve been teaching with the Los Angeles Unified School District, LAUSD, since 1989. Now I’m at the end of my career.
Recently 31,000 United Teachers of Los Angeles, UTLA, members and I went on a six day strike. I’m sure I will write about my experience later. For now, this old teacher is learning new tricks. I’m going to spread my wings and learn to blog. It’s an adventure that I just need to start.
